Murder for a Murder
What would you do if you had knew when you were to die?
Now its too late to apologize
Crime is wrong but two wrongs don’t make a right
What are we teaching if we kill for killing?
But worse than that,
We blame the innocent.
Kill those who did nothing.
The poor who got blamed by mistake?
The one who was there at the wrong time?
The Black man just because he’s Black?
Killing a killer doesn’t bring someone back
Killing a killer only kills again
Killing a killer doesn’t put the lives of the families on track
Killing a killer hurts everyone
Race and income determines who lives and who dies
When can there be more held to a life
Then the amount a lawyer gets paid?
Its not even good for the citizens
It’s costing us millions to kill
This doesn’t end the crimes committed
Do we just blame someone for having a mental illness?
Or acting on a moment’s decision?
For not doing anything at all
Killing a killer doesn’t bring someone back
Killing a killer only kills again
Killing a killer doesn’t put the lives of the families on track
Killing a killer hurts everyone
Killing a killer often results in the wrong man accused
Against nearly every religion
And every moral value
Without morals we’re not human
And what about the man who holds the execution?
What does that do to him or her?
You’re taking a life
You’re taking a life of a man who is begging for mercy
And you do it anyway
Killing a killer doesn’t bring someone back
Killing a killer only kills again
Killing a killer doesn’t put the lives of the families on track
Killing a killer hurts everyone
Thirty out of fifty is too many states
Too many states to kill for crimes
Firing Squad in Utah
Lethal Gas in two other States
Electrocution in the rest
We can’t expect murder to end
If we endorse it
