DESOLATON
There she is down the lane
Her eyes the one's filled with pain
Quietly she sat as the tears rolled down
She did really feel like she was a clown
She felt like a puppet in somebody's arm
Someone who meant nothing but harm
Someone who hid in the dark and was unknown
Someone who never wished to be known
Her body shook with the sobs suppressed
After all everything had it's aftereffects
With hardship she stood
Slowly putting back her hood
She knew she had to be strong
And face the one's who had done her wrong
Each step with effort she took
Her frail body adversely shook
But she never looked back
Because it was the past and the past was in the past
She looked up as the clouds darkened the sky
As each drop fell
It was as if the heaven wept for her
