Tick.
Tick.
Scrambling, sweat dripped down his brow
His hands dipped down the crevices, fumbling
Counting, the last days coming to an end
He cried out as the spectators around him shouted a play by play
Tick.
There it was again.
He looked, worry etched on his face
Those around looked at the remaining time and held hands
He shook, hoping for a miracle.
Tick.
He scrambled, sweat dripping down his brow
He fumbled, his hands dipped too deep down the crevices
He counted, their last days coming to an end.
They cried out as he followed their play by play
Tick.
Boom.
