Oh it's such a delicate thing
When I feel strong
It's defiant
It's excited
I am elated
It is worthwhile
Oh what a delicate thing
When I am nervous
It jitters
Like an ugly little critter
It leaps
It soars
Out of my chest it goes

When I am sad
It's sad too
It's depressed
It's dull
It's lazy
All to full

When I am happy
It beams
It sings
And it rings
It's restless
That's what it seems
Oh such a delicate thing
I wear my heart on my sleeve
It hurts
It bleeds
I caress it
It sings
It dings
I beat it
It weeps
It grieves
I fall in love
It beeps
And it leaps
Oh it's such a delicate thing
It cries
It weeps
It sings

It beats
It dins
It rings
What a delicate thing
It's my everything
