Lost
As I stand in the pouring rain, splashing loud,
I think back to the day where the sun ran away.
The breeze flows through the trees,
Unknown whispers so I hear.
You went home without letting us know,
No More pain flows through your veins.
Memories remain but grief is haunting me,
No words, no voices, just pale as snow,
I hear your heartbeat fade away
I sit in the chair that was once yours
It's not the same without you here.
A broken piece has shattered that can’t be replaced.
You are hurting but not no more
We were your world but had to go
We are lost but will be found
A guardian angel shall guide us around.
