Don't Say It

Don’t you dare say it. I don’t want to hear how insincere you try to be.

Stop trying to be the Superman when the damsel has already been rescued.

Your actions have spoken what your words never could.

Your eyes never saw lust or dilated to the sight of my mundane self.

The dreams you say are beautifully detailed pictures with so much included, while my figure is completely disfigured and unrecognizable.

The promises you made each shattered and on the floor like the glass broken outside our dream home.

Fantasies made before are gone and replaced with the image of just yourself.

All the things you said just never came to life and laid dying on the gurnee of expectations, and died upon arrival.

So let me make it clear where the pieces lay of whatever this was.

‘U’ and ‘I’ never spelled us.

Salvage what you want or what you can, you have lost something you probably never knew you had.

You’d soon notice that there is an empty spot where my feelings for you used to be, that I know no one but me could ever fill.

There is nothing left for you here, no reason for you to fight.

The battle for whatever this is over, no blood spilt as you had no chance.

So don’t you dare say it, you never ever made it seem or try to make it look true.

You’ll never EVER love me just as much as I loved you.
