Hearts Twist
Wrists mix into states of oblivious mist
Hearts break
fiercely through the meridian of kissed lips
Feel the beat of my heart thump when you’re close by
Reel in the hue of your eyes that matched the blue sky
Yellow I told you was my favorite color
The color of sunshine
the trees blowing mellow
Then you left
So My heart no longer dreamt
Only your eyes left behind
To harden my heart
From your soulless spine
