Dear Shot Put
Dear Shot Put,
These past few years,
we’ve had our ups, and our downs.
From last year,
barely able to throwing you 20 feet as a middle schooler.
To this year,
and being able to throw you 35 feet.
As a Freshman,
unlike the seniors,
we still have time left with each other.
We have 3 years left of high school,
to try and hit the ultimate goal,
of throwing 50 plus feet.
We have the time, 4
now what’s left,
is to put in the work,
and hear the reader,
say those two words,
“50 feet”.
Sincerely,
Corey H.
