Nightmare
1 A small red and white bus is being pushed on a smooth floor
Right next to a sick child is a black and yellow coat
Its’ rough edges make the child race across the room
His mother is sitting there and that makes him feel safe.
5 The decorations around the house make it look scary.
Thumb tacks in the walls holding the decorations up.
The orange and blue books are all organized by colour.
With their smooth textures, they lay down.
The boy still fidgets with his toys because he is still scared.
10 The caring mother sits by his side comforting him telling him,
“Everything will be alright, There’s no such things as monsters.”
The boy listens but he knows deep
in his mind that there is a monster In his closet.
His mom leaves the bedroom and the child tries to fall asleep
15 He peeks up of what he thinks is his mother but it isn't.
He sees the yellow jacket leave his closet but still isn't sure.
A monster of all colours comes out of the closet wearing the
Black and yellow coat.
It moves closer and closer to the bed and finally lets out a big roar.
20 The kid is scared but wakes up, it was all just a nightmare.
