Middle school
People circle like vultures,
If you slip they devour you whole,
Leave you with no trace
The higher you go the easier it is
To slip off the edge,
And tumble down the ladder,
Only to have to climb back up again
Over and over
Why do we do this to ourselves?
Why don't we just jump?
Jump out, spread your wings
Be different
For once...

I am often someone who steps back and takes a good look at enviroments around us. One of these environments that I am heavily exposed to is school. I've noticed that most people will try over and over again and they just don't get that the higher they go the farther the fall is. I wrote this poem to symbolize my observations.
