You Never Saw Me As Human
Am I a danger to you?
Do I threaten you?
My eyes daggers
A consistent threat flirting around the room
Where will they land?
Or my voice an axe?
Will my words chop you down
Will anyone hear you when you fall
Perhaps you should inquire within yourself
Why you don’t like me
Why you’re so scared of me
Make yourself answer the question.
Answer the question.
Perhaps you forgot that I am human too.
Perhaps you see me as an emotionless robot.
Programmed to work.
Win.
Die.
You don’t see the struggle.
You don’t see the tears.
Does my confidence alarm you?
Does my lack of concern give you a fright?
Answer the question.
Answer the question.
