Square
You could hear the squeak of his last season D&G shoes coming down the hallway
So when he walked, people stared
Plus, the sweat on his bumpy, old forehead made him look like a square
When he spoke “It’s just a joke”
But he was sexist, racist, homophobic, and he hated kids, too
When he talked to me
I know he looked down on me
My hand was a fist and I wish it could connect to his saggy, wrinkly cheek
