What I'm Made Of
I’m made of summer barbeques and violin
Of oldies music and curly dogs
Of little siblings and trips to the beach
Of days by the pool and doodling on my bed
Of chalking the driveway and friends’ laughter
Of papa’s barn and dancing my heart out
Of writing in my notebook and pina colada
Of reading books and creating things
I am made of understanding and happiness
Of golf cart rides and baseball
Of horse rides and pepsi cans
Of crazy cousins and chik-fil-a
Of singing in the shower and doing watercolors
Of murder mysteries and Disneyland
Of bike rides to school and lala land
Of mac and cheese and BYU games
I am made of love and knowledge.
