She persists
She pushes you to do great things
and make the world your own
She sparks the colors in you
with a splash of paint
or using poetic words
She brings out beauty
where one would least expect it
She is unique
but the crowds will mock you
for being associated with Her
simply for the way She makes you special
She is dangerous to them
She defies their control
and they want you to blend
into a dull, colorless world
if She doesn’t fit their limitations
they will strike you down
and slowly but surely
shrink Her down to their size
to fit the norm
drift away from Her
She fades from your mind
and who you thought you were
goes with Her...
