Bad Dreams
I can not run.
I can not hide.
I can not escape the fear inside,
The fear of the bad dream.
Someone wake me up,
Wake me up.
I can not awaken.
Why can I not wake up?
I feel a shake.
I hear my name.
Suddenly I snap back to reality,
I am freed from the dream.
Now I am alone with the fear,
With the fear that the dream is still near.

I wrote this piece because I get bad dreams and I feel as if I am trapped and I have nowhere to go. I also feel like I can not wake up no matter what I try to do and once I do wake up, I am still scared.
