If only I had enjoyed it more
When it was here
If only I had not worried about
When it would be gone
Imagine if I’d lived right now
Instead of in the regrets of the past
Or in the pressure of the future
Because one day the future will appear
And I’ll long to be back
Because when I furrowed my brows in worry
Of what I couldn’t control
Or rubbed my wet eyes
For the loss of something I hadn’t lost yet
I could’ve just been happy
