Return Again
The depression seeps in
Almost webbing it was throughout your body
Though every limb, every nerve
Soon you’ll meet the darknes
The darkness that supposedly turns into light
But no one truly knows
You shove the barrel of the gun deeper into your head
You stand there dreaming about the day your kids will graduate, without your presence
You grab the keys off the duty desk standing before you
You race home, hoping its not to late to save your kids
By the time you get home they are gone, disconnected forever
Their love for you will never return to it’s original state
Days go by, and by the end of the year they are truly gone
Never to return again
