Favorite Quote:
“Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does." <br /> ― Stephenie Meyer, New Moon

As the breeze grew stronger,
she pulled her sweater tighter
trying to fight against the wind
that dared to expose her arms
It shouted at her,
called her names
The sun continued to shine brighter
daring her to remove her sweater
at the sudden burst of warmth
As the wind and sun worked against her
she felt alone and helpless
She tore off her sweater
And the impact of the wind hit her arms,
The scars were ripped open
The wind swirled around her
laughing hysterically at her bleeding wrists
The sun shone a while longer,
the wind blew once more,
and she went out like a candle
