I am for summertime
For beach days and personal days
For holidays and getaways
I am for sleeping in and staying in
For going out and all about
The roller coasters and all the thrills
Anything that cannot kill
I am for french fries
For frappes and watching the sunrise
Standing in the sunlight
And pool diving in the night
I am for summertime
For swimsuits and tanlines
And all of the best times

This poem I wrote because of my love for the summertime. When someone brings up summer, I think about all of the fun activities that my friends and I engage in all summer long. Whether it is beach trips, or going on adventures or even just the warm weather, I am for summertime and all of the activities that are a part of summer.
