The pink room
The little girl dreams.
Dreams to have her own princess room
Small but not to small for the little girl.
The smell of the pink walls that were painted years ago
A queen size bed that she can grow into a woman
The pure white and pink blankets and pillows.
A mirror that she looks at and expresses herself too
Behind the door the girl marks every year to see if she not a little girl anymore
The little girl favorite Disney show that plays on her purple TV.
At night the dark arrives
She looks up at the ceiling to see her magical glow in the dark stars.
The pink polish that the little girl leaves open
Practicing on her tiny feet.
Her dolls that are her best friend.
Three black and orange gold-fish that swim freely
Makeup that she paints on her face to be Cinderella
All her dreams come true.
The little princess turns into
A queen.
