Concept: The Sahara Desert
Walking
Breathing
Sweating
Endless.
The more I walk
The more I want to turn back
Forget about the entire journey
Like I never even tried
It was by my own will
My own thoughts that deceived me into this
I walk this deserted path with only one goal
Tears fill my view
Thirst takes over my voice
The voice I never used
Just a plant, nothing
There’s better here
Now I’m starving
Keep walking
There’s an end to this
It’s where buildings rise
This is home
I look back on this journey
All the miles I walked
I covered everything
I shouldn’t fear anymore
I shouldn’t be clueless anymore
I should know everything
All of the questions I wanted to answer so badly
But when I look back I realize that through all of this
I never experienced anything
I was blind
Hungry
Hurt
Deaf
And through all of it
I still don’t know the desert
It looks as empty as it looked before
Because I tried too hard for the wrong reasons
Some things are there for a reason
Shouldn’t be fully explored
Just seen and appreciated
Accept
And move on.
