Behind the Flash
As you walk down the road of sorrow
Your heart pounds like a drum
Your thoughts cloud into a thick fog
And your eyes shootout tears like a cannon
Creating chaos and despair
In the ruins you find yourself lost
Trying to hide, but where?
Running around in circles
Memories flashing like lightning
Wishing time would freeze
So you could think
For just one second
But the world, it never stops
Just keeps moving, with or without you
So chin up
And smile for the camera
