Foggy Memories
Slowly strolling down a road of the past,
I saw a cannon
Faintly through all the heavy fog
As I got closer
The sounds almost like a drum
Thumping over and over, thumping
It reminded me, each thump
taking pictures with a camera,
Holds so many memories
Showing what my life was like
When I was younger,
That same thumping noise
Was heard from all around my house,
As I broke my leg,
I was only 4
The sharp sound of sirens,
The beeping of hospital halls,
And the feeling of my leg throbbing in pain
My parents were the most comforting things in the room.
They were there helping me to walk again
With my body cast on for many months
I finally learned how to walk again
