A Pen's Life
Pencils broken,
Keyboard too,
I had to use the pen that’s blue.
Not blue ink,
I don’t think,
It’s sad from its long day.
Today it’s suffered,
My pen, my way,
For my class wants an essay.
One that's long,
That flows like a song,
For what is how to know.
My pen, to learn,
How to go,
Or how to show.
My pen was strong,
It lasted long,
But now it’s gone away.
