Seaside Serenity
I lie in the hammock
Tied up in the trees
I step down from a high
And I feel the sea breeze.
The sand between my toes,
It makes me feel at peace.
My worries are lifted
And I can connect with the beach.
I dip my feet into the ocean
And immediately I smell the salt.
I know my hair is already knotty
As the waves never come to a halt.
My skin feels warm and bronzed
So I thank the sun for that.
I remain in the moment and enjoy the peace I feel under my hat.
