Special
The Unkindled one has yet to set a flame in you
Depression, anxiety, suicide, pain and suffering
Longing, Loving, connection, belonging
Weeping, sadness, grit, and strength
Weaved into fragments of your time
Only then will you surely shine?
No
Burn, burn, burn, burn and continue to burn
You will never pass
You will never break
You will never take
You will always ache
Cry yourself to sleep, self-pity of what you speak
You find no happiness? Everything is just or not fine?
It’s tough? You want to quit?
You’re upset at yourself? Your life is in shambles?
A friend betrayed you? You go through a lot?
You went through a breakup? The drama is too much?
You don’t love yourself? You hate yourself?
You complain? You rationalize the choices you make?
You’re embarrassed? You have panic attacks?
Yes
that’s me, you and me is also what you see
Why not look in the mirror and tell me what you need
I am here, watching there to see
I’m here in your time of need
But
You don’t know what it’s like
You think I don’t know?
You don’t understand
You think I don’t understand?
Artifice connection through signal and wire
Having it in your hands it is always dire
Tapping and silence rather than speech
Everything else you don’t really want and need
You are not special.

I've been born with a disabled arm. I see people's pain and suffering all the time and people always strive to be happy but thet forget what Joy is. Happiness is temporary and external. Joy is everlasting and eternal. We act like the victims and want to be special but really were not. We are all the same.
