Trees
I feel as a Willow
Droopy and tired
It’s become too hard to leave my pillow
As if I’m a machine that needs to be rewired
I feel as a Locust
Built of hardwood
On my dream i must choose to focus
Nothing more than a child yearning for adulthood
I feel as a Sproutlet
Shaken in the wind
My brain gives too many thoughts for an outlet
They give messages they wish for me to send
Flowers, plants, trees, and more
Subjected to faded gold
Listen when they spin the tales of war
As we forget the ways of old
