Christmas, Christmas the time is near
Christmas, Christmas spread some cheer
Christmas, Christmas a time for the Lord
Christmas, Christmas never leaves one bored
It is not always about a toy
Often more about joy
It is not about gifts or granting a wish
But about praising God and not being selfish
When the morning comes and brings such delight
We must not forget Jesus’ fight
This day is celebrated not only for us
But for the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus
We gather round to bond with friends
But it is all about God when the day ends
It is the best time to come together
And live the life of God always and forever
Christmas, Christmas brings much fun
Christmas, Christmas our work is never done
Christmas, Christmas Jesus’ day
Christmas, Christmas a great time to pray
