nobody ever showed me how to change
so when i wake up
stay by my bedside
i want you inked into me
meet me in the hallway
become red
we can trade for a bit, a few minutes, a few seconds
honey, honey
pretend i am awake
pretend i never slept and you never pressed into my sides
pretend for a flying moment we are the lone pair in the universe
maybe you want to
cover me in the same blankets we slept in
but don’t let me fall asleep
run it by me first
you ever get that feeling after you wake up where you miss flying?
