Favorite Quote:
People aren't either wicked or noble. They're like chef's salads, with good things and bad things chopped and mixed together in a vinaigrette of confusion and conflict.

he is floating, far, far away from the earth on which he dwells.
holding his transparent balloon from the circus, he leaves the atmosphere.
high above the blue marble, his feet rest on the glass of the stars
a see-through case encircling the world.

he laughs, for his balloon from the circus has taken him so far.
and from his viewpoint in the sky, he can watch the planets zip around their sun.
and he can see the earth beneath him, an endless cycle of lights flickering.
on. off. on. off.

it is always night, and it is always day. always sleeping, always awake.
on his back, he looks at the ever-expanding galaxy, with stardust in his veins.
with only his transparent balloon from the circus to keep him company,
he dances on the glass around the earth.

he lives off of dreams floating away from their owners.
occasionally, a rocket flies by, and the invisible ghosts from past missions wave to him.
the stars whisper to him when he rests,
and his transparent balloon from the circus is tied around his hand.

but being lonely is his favorite game to play
because transparent balloons from the circus
can't
talk
back.
