GAME OF LIFE
As long as I can remember, life was fun
I’d jump on the trampoline in endless sun
We’d go out and play for so long,
We thought the sun would never go down
It was like your favorite song
You play for hours and hours,
Always singing along
If we got bored, that’s okay
We’d find something like swimming the day away
If it wasn’t sunny, we didn’t mind
We’d play monopoly
My brother cheating, the whole time
When monopoly got old, we’d switch to a new game
Game after game after game
When night came, we’d surround ourselves by a fire and sleep in a tent
Then we got old
Things started to change
Time was scarce
We saw each other less and less
Going outside turned into movies
Board games turned into video games
We grew up
