Mother Nature
A beautiful creature
a being of light
Where she steps, flowers blossom with hope.
her cape, made of the trees and ocean.
Her crown, made of dewdrops and sunshine
her hair, made of the night and day
Her eyes, the purest pearls.
she was the one who created us all,
And in return, we give her a death sentence.
now,
A dying child
darkness surrounds her.
Where she walks, death encloses her entity
her cape is black, made of anger, sadness, hate
Her crown is made of pain and suffering
her hair, now dark as tar and filled with rage.
Her eyes, now two empty dead caves
she was the one who created us all.
Now she screams thunderbolts
yet no one listens.

This piece was something I wrote a long time ago. I found it in one of my books, and I decided to expand on the piece. It was based off of a poem that my friend wrote, so I thank her for her inspiration.
