This is Why
You see,
I only function for a few things,
Temporary things.
For one day I will not be able to write
And I will be brainwashed.
I will have no home,
My music will seem dull,
And he will be gone.
So when you ask me why I write so much
Or why I think things so odd,
Why I lay in bed so often
Or why I am constantly listening to music,
Why I look at him with astoundment
Like he is a complex map and I am a small town,
It is to keep me alive.
