Seize the Day
You have to leave yourself for a moment.
Feel real, breath in, breath out, and own it.
Anybody can do good and resist evil,
I beleive in you and I promise so do other people.
Take this day one step at a time.
Of course you'll stumble on your way,
but you'll also reach a stride.
So run with your arms open and seize the day,
because eventually you'll take the moment and live your way.

I am in 11th grade, I wrote this in the summer of 2018 when I also wrote a lot of other poetry as well. This peice always stood out to me and I think it's because it has a paticulary hopeful message compared to most of the other poems I make.
