The Farm
Sunday Morning
Oh, what a sweet taste of honey
The sun high up resting in that perfect scene
Family
Anxious to reach that destination
Gazing out at those beautiful fields of green
Almost like being lost
Lost...
Lost in the soft touch of warm rays
The best feeling to be found
Calm
And
Relaxed
With no plan at all
Dust flying up,
on that familiar gravel road
At last...
Sitting there in silence
Peaceful
Searching for that satisfaction
Only to be found in nowhere
The fresh pears hang from the tree,
like the clouds in the sky
The quiet bluegill swim until caught.
And the berries wait to be picked.
Running around the barn.
The acres are filled with that melodic ring
Soon to be gathered together
Our alluring Safe Haven
