Friends are like seasons,

they come and they go.

Some stay around longer,

while others leave sooner.

It just depends on the time of the year!

Spring… friends start to come

Summer… friends are always around

Fall… friends start to go

Winter… friends are never around

Summer is my favorite!

First comes spring…

Flowers and nature start to bloom,

so do new friendships.

My friends start to make me feel alive again!

Then comes summer…

Nature is at its peak,

so are my friendships.

I feel my best when it finally hits!

Eventually comes fall…

Leaves begin to fall off trees,

crying as they hit the ground.

As do I when my friendships start to go!

Lastly comes winter…

The snow is quicksand,

sucking all my friendships away.

Leaving me alone waiting for the next season to arrive!
