Sadness Makes Me
Sadness
Feels like there is a wool blanket over my heart,
Limiting my pulse and my dreams.
My tears wet the wool blanket,
Making it heavier
My heart keeps pushing and pushing,
But with little effort,
The wool blanket holds me down.
…
Sadness is the
Black night coming to cover the sun,
The sun that once owned all it touched
Now can only be seen through holes in the sky
Twinkling and dancing while crying for help,
Pure uncontrollable power strangled by nothingness.
