My Grandmother
I get the new grandma is in the hospital
What happens is she going to make it
We don’t know anything
Tears started running down my face like a waterfall
I just kept saying she has to make it, she has to
It’s been weeks since I have stopped eating, socializing with people and barely going to school
My grandma is my rock
She is like a second mom to me
If I lose her
Then what's there to live for
I’m in the loud waiting room hearing doctors talk to families giving them good news and bad
Hearing the loud cries from all around the room
Then the doctor approached my family
I had a lump in my throat and felt like I was going to throw up
I heard I’m sorry but your grandma sadly passed
My heart sank
Those words ring in my ears
I started to scream bloody murder
I couldn’t control my tears
My grandma was my everything
