Sickening, Amber Oil
I feel its embrace
Heavy, yet hollow
My lungs begin
To seize
A glistening concentration
Glows honey sweet
I continue to drown
Lusting for what once lasted
The brief moments that gold brought riches
But the beauty of expectation
Is gone
The warm embrace
The blissful taste
Yet the sun rises
And reality blooms
My tongue left bitter
My heart has turned crude, here waiting
For you
