Friends
The taste of your lips
A moment of silence
The moonlight gazed
It hit your perfect hazel eyes.
“Friends don’t do this.”
Eyes pierced to another
Connection strong as steel.
It was not right, me and you
To feel this way for each other.
After all remember,
We were just friends.
Thoughts rumbled as we laid there
Maybe I did? I did want this.
