They had me question myself -

Ever be?

But one event overfilled this goblet of self-pity.

I snapped. Some would say I'm insane.

But I've never felt less constrained.

Good things come to those who wait.

I waited.

Weeks. Months. And what for?

A repetition of the unfortunate alignments of stars.

Can I ever escape break free of the foul streak?

Now I know.

Leave it be. Laissez-faire.

I used to hurt.

Be vulnerable.

Not anymore.

Indifference to pain.

Happiness from small joys.

Thankfulness for the good things.
