Spring Emotions
I cannot help but feel content when Spring arrives
Many emotions of happiness fill my soul as winter leaves
When I look to the cloudless sky, I feel free
Free as the birds and butterflies that soar before me
Rainy days in Spring are relaxing, the soft pitter-patter
Fills my ears, as the invigorating scent envelopes my nose
My taste buds dance as I eat the colorful
Sun-kissed fruit, the juice trickling down my chin
Looking upon the rejuvenating array of flowers, bright and pastel in color
Gently swaying in the light, playful breeze
The same breeze that warms my soft skin
When I touch the fertile Earth, I think of all
The lush plants that could thrive within
