Art
Art
The white space confines me
One that must be covered
Art is fueled by colors, but colors are lost
In an ocean of people
People that are here for art
People that are being found by art
People that can hear art speaking to them
Wanting them to work harder and dream bigger
People always wait for a masterpiece
One with brilliant colors only seen in dreams
One that can make people feel
They hope that this will find them
They hope that their ugly mess will disappear
But they’re looking left instead of right
They’re looking for an easy way out
One that doesn’t require a passion
One that earns them a grade
Some people don’t care for the grade
Some people love art for what it is
Some people make beauty out of unwanted colors
Some people discover that art can be messy
That messy is only the beginning
Some people discover its not really that easy
That each and every color has meaning
That a mistake is only a unknown beauty
Some people just like me
