Release of Storm
You apologized as if your vulnerability was a weight that everyone else had to stumble under. If there was anything I could’ve said in the stretches of silence, I would’ve mentioned that there is beauty in what you feel. Your emotions create magic. You are not alone. Thank you for showing me that there is strength in softness. Thank you for showing me that it’s okay to not be okay all the time. I should’ve told you that everything’s going to be fine- I don’t think of you any less than I did before. Dancers are in the business of creating and sharing stories.
