Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. - Francis of Assisi

There I was, in my vivid dream.

Leaving my house to go walk my dog, my Alaskan malamute,

when I saw it.

When I saw the thing that would stop

anyone in their tracks.

Something so

majestic.

Magnificent,

Extraordinary.

It was already dark, yet there it was

It was something so unexpected, unrealistic.

It was

a total solar eclipse.

Showing off its beauty to the world.

The Earth,

the Moon.

Performing a jaw-dropping spectacle,

Something that would awe you, amaze you

I just stood there. Staring.

I had never seen a solar eclipse in my life.

It was beautiful.

But then, something really interesting happened.

The sun began to shoot solar prominences out into space,

first large enough ones to be visible from Earth.

Then gradually getting bigger

until one the size of the sun itself

shot out into space;

as if the sun was furious with the Earth

I immediately looked at my dog, completely forgetting he was still there.

He changed.

His body first turned into fire, still in the shape of a dog.

Then he turned into a phoenix and flew away,

I was terrified and shocked, I just stood there

once again.

I was speechless, confused.

Why and how?

It could be a vision of some sort;

A seer’s vision of the future

of how the Earth feels, about how

humans

are ruining it.

It could mean everything...
