Love is Pain

Like thorns
Piercing through my skin
I begin to feel the pain I’m sunken in.
Like whips
Beating hell into my hide
I begin to see why this trend subsides.
Like thunder
Trembling hurt into my heart
I begin to see why my dream of love will subside.
