My favorite part of this piece is how you can view it two different ways; you can read the words and not think about it in depth, or you can read between the lines and infer things about myself as the main character while reading, which is something that not everybody can do. One potential weakness in my poem could be the repetitiveness of the words, which a lot of readers could find boring, however, I believe that it fits the poem and gives the average reader a better idea of how I am as a person when I’m surrounded by stress. I hope readers will learn what some of my traits are (as stated by others) without me indirectly saying it. I’ve learned that I can use indirect characterization in pieces as basic as a poem and now I know that I can do that in a bigger piece as well.
