The Last Days
December 19, 2018
She was the last person on earth.
All of a sudden there was a knock on her door and she just jumped in terror.
She felt scared but also filled with hope.
She hoped there was someone alive besides her but,
also scared because she thought she might be hearing things.
She slowly walked towards the door and her heart began to beat uncontrollably.
She knew in her heart something wasn't right.
She slowly opened the door and froze in horror with tears running down her face.
All that was said was ‘’we finally found you‘’.
Then the house was left empty.

I came up with this piece when my teacher told us to come up with a horror/thriller piece. I'm fascinated with the end of the world and what would happen if you were the last person on earth and heard a noise. I would totally freak out and think im going crazy but at the same time I would want someone with me so I won't go crazy.
