Haiku: Life's Meaning
What is life’s meaning?
That is the question asked now.
Always search for meaning.
Why search for meaning?
No meaning in changing world!
For world forever changing.
Yet static would be not.
For no change is truly sad.
Yet fear both I do.
Ones who see worlds truth.
Say only death real meaning.
Nay, I say to them!
To live, then to die!
False meaning preach to masses.
Is only real fact.
Life will end someday.
It's journey gives true meaning.
How life is walked through.
Meaning is not searched.
It is made by life choices.
For choice builds meaning.
Dam those who say nay!
Forgotten to live in now.
Not fade to black sleep.
Of course look beyond.
But not to the end of life.
Look to build meaning.
To build your future.
As what you desire most.
For that is true life.
Wish a life of war?
Build yourself as warrior.
Sharpen blades of steel.
Wish a life of wealth?
Build your knowledge of life’s trade.
Learn well what it takes.
Wish a life of love.
Build a loving family.
Love forever the bonds.
Life has no meaning.
But it can have meaning now.
Just make thy meaning.
