Shadows haunt the night

Whom sees the light?

For skies are foggy and grey

How come happiness is not in my day?

I gasp for air but a voice whispers beware

The wind is whistling, calling me

Shadows haunt the night

Touch so delicate

A beautiful flower blooms and thrives

But how come whom ever touches it dies?

My soul sings whilst drifting in air

And yet no one has a care

The bees come occasionally, only to take and leave

Again so empty it seems

Touch so delicate

The light shines now

So dull and bare

I can finally sense air

The light is contagious, I see you there

Please come and touch my hair

Speak your secrets, fill me once more

For I am a child without a chore

The light shines now

No need to fear

But when night time comes, all I spoke of will reappear
